Policies, rates and fees may change without notice.

 

Book Your Reservation

Reservations are on a first come, first served basis.  Your dates will be held for you with your reservation application and deposit.  Once we have received your reservation application and deposit, we will prepare a contract for you.  You have 30 days (or 2 weeks prior to your event, whichever is earlier) to complete your contract and return it.

 

Deposits

Overnight Events:

The reservation deposit holds your event dates for you, and is due when you submit your reservation application. This deposit starts at $1000, and is based on the number of nights of your event.

Daytime events:

Your deposit is equal to your daily fee.

 

Deadlines

All contracts, certificates and paperwork must be returned to the Manager by 30 days after reservation, or 2 weeks before the event, whichever is earlier.  Dates will be made available to other reservations if deadlines are not met.

 

Cancellation

If you need to cancel your event, portions of your deposit are non-refundable. If cancellation occurs at least 30 days before your event, you will receive 90% of your reservation deposit in refund.   No refund will be given for cancellations at 30 days or less from your event.

 

Payment

All deposits and payments are to be paid by check. Final payment for your event is due on check-out.

 

Kitchen Use

Kitchen use is included in your rental fee.  You may cook for yourselves, or you may hire a cook.  Make sure any cook you use or hire is in compliance with Illinois Department of Public Health rules and regulations regarding food service. If you use the kitchen, you are exclusively responsible for cleaning all cooking surfaces, counters, and storage areas, in accordance with cleaning procedures posted.  Kitchen cleaning is not included in the Lodge cleaning fee. If the kitchen is not sufficiently cleaned, groups will be assessed a per hour cleaning fee, as indicated in the contract. If you do not want kitchen access, you will receive a discounted rate.

 

Optional Services

For an additional charge, Quarryledge offers the following services:

Lodge Cleaning – Does not include kitchen cleaning. If you choose to have the lodge cleaned by Quarryledge, you can finish your event, pack up your gear, check out, and leave.  Otherwise, your group is responsible for cleaning the Lodge in accordance with posted procedures prior to check out.

Linen Service – Quarryledge can contract with a linen service at your request, to provide sheets, pillowcases, a blanket, towels, and washcloths. The cost of this service will be added to your bill.

 

Release of Liability and Insurance

Your group is required to provide your own medical personnel, medical supplies, emergency transportation and accident insurance and liability insurance as indicated in the contract.  You are responsible for having each person at Camp Quarryledge (or their parent/legal guardian) sign a release of liability, as indicated in the contract. You are responsible for making sure any 3rd party with whom you contract meets the same liability and insurance requirements.

 

Check in and Check out times

Groups may check in beginning at 3pm on the first day of your reservation.  Check out is no later than 12 pm (noon). If your group checks out later than the end time, there will be an additional per hour fee. Groups are responsible for cleaning the Lodge prior to check out, unless you have chosen the optional cleaning service before your event begins.

 

Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms

Alcoholic beverages, tobacco products, and firearms are not allowed at Camp Quarryledge.

 

Parking

Do not park on, or block the driveway. Park in designated areas.

 

Audio/Visual Equipment

Camp Quarryledge provides a large ceiling mounted, retractable projection screen. We also provide a small, portable amplification system with microphone and bluetooth connection.  You are responsible for providing your own projector and any additional A/V equipment you need.

 

Copy Machine and Computer

These items are off-limits to groups.  Groups will be charged a fee if the equipment is used.

 

Wireless Internet

Internet is available in the Lodge

 

Campfire Areas

Camp Quarryledge offers several campfire areas for your convenience.  We will provide firewood. You are responsible for providing your own matches/lighter and fire starters.  You are responsible for starting, maintaining, putting out your fire, and disposing of ashes/coals (when using indoor fireplace). Fires may only be burned in designated areas.

 

Wheelchair Accessibility

The Lodge is wheelchair accessible.  The Lower Lodge meeting areas have accessible bathrooms.  The Upper Lodge sleeping areas have accessible bedrooms, bathrooms, and showers.
